WHAT CLIENTS SAY

"Emilie was so amazing to work with during my postpartum experience! I really recommend having a postpartum doula even if you have a lot of family around. She was able to come over whenever worked for me and taught me so many useful things. Emilie even drove us to my daughter's first appointment after discharging from the hospital because my husband had to be at work! She went above and beyond what I ever thought a postpartum doula could do. Even after our time with her ended, I still feel like I can reach out if I have questions about anything!"

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

"We felt so comfortable with Emilie's presence and help. All her knowledge was incredibly helpful. She was great with communicating to us different positions and how to do them well, she was so helpful in relaying information between us and the hospital staff, and she was thoughtful in how she listened to how I was feeling. I would, without a doubt, recommend her to anyone considering having a doula to aid their labor experience!"

Meet your doula

Welcome to Simplicity Doula! I'm SO glad you're here. I'm Emilie, a soon-to-be-certified birth and postpartum doula with DONA International. I'm a devoted follower of Jesus, mama to my sweet baby girl, and lover of rainy days, string lights, and iced lattes.

I believe that every new family deserves compassionate, personalized support. Birth is not just a medical event — it’s a life-changing moment that shapes families forever.

My goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and cared for throughout your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. Whether it is teaching a new dad how to help his wife cope during labor, or a hot meal and a hug, I am incredibly honored to serve families as they welcome God's littlest blessings. In a season that can feel overwhelming, my prayer is to bring a sense of peace, quiet, and simplicity — helping you slow down and soak in every moment with your little one.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace… so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ."
— 1 Peter 4:10–11
